Hey everyone. Im new to this list, but not to Low End Mac. Im also on the Compact Macs List.
I have a 6100/60 that is (not completely) dead. When I start it up, I get the "bong", but the monitor (which has an orange light as well as a green light) light is staying orange and the screen doesn't light up. I know the monitor is working, because I tried it on another computer, and the Power Macintosh Video adapter with the funky plug is working because I tried that on a 6115CD.
I did zap the PRAM.
I reseated and replaced the RAM (with known good RAM) numerous times.
Does anyone have any ideas???
Thanks!
Ian Nixon
