The 6100 can also use a video card which is actually a better option than running the monitor from the onboard ram. Also, most g3 cards that fit the 6100 have a pass thru slot that will accept a video card. There are 3 different cards that work nicely depending on your needs: Apple AV card Apple HPV 2MB Apple HPV 4MB The AV has limited video capabilities. The HPV 4MB will drive a 21" monitor at up to millions of colours.
