Thank you. This is sounding like it would fit for the situation. Would you be so kind to elaborate a little on the 'dongle'. I am understanding that you mean one of those resolution adapters of some sort, ...but I'm not sure that I'm understanding you correctly. Also, I went looking to try to verify that my switchbox looks like the brand you identified. I didn't see one on Dr Bott's site that matched what I have, but I did find a picture in an old archive (thanks to another lister) so that it is at least 'sight identifiable'.
