One of the problems with sense lines is they are input lines (requiring a simple "pull-up" on all three lines, and "reading" all three at once) and they are also output lines (being individually "addressed" and the results on the other two being "read", in sequence). Setting the Dr. Bott for 21" Multiscan (or 17") is probably a safe choice for any Mac running 7.6.1 or later. Note that the Dr. Bott messes with the ADB ports, too. It wires the transmit and receive lines straight across through the switch. The ground is bussed straight across without the switch.
