In my original message, when I said I removed "all devices" I meant exactly that. I removed things one at a time until literally all that was left in the case was the motherboard and power supply. Same result. The motherboard looks brand new, as does the connector at the end of it. I was hoping that the cause of all this was not a defective power supply or logic board, but it looks as if those are the only two possibilities.
