I would like to use one of my PPC 6100/60 as web and mail server for some of
my sites, using a dynamic IP cable connection.

What type of software I need to install ?

How can I begin to set up the servers ? It is risky ? It is better to use OS
8.1, that I am currently using, or OS 9.2 ? RAM 72Mb

Later I would like to install FileMaker server.

I'm not even sure you can put 9.2 on a 6100 but I'd stick with OS 9.1 at most anyway, depending on what you plan on running.

I run Stalker Internet Mail Server (SIMS) which runs very well. It is better than Eudora Internet Mail Server (EIMS). It's available at <http://www.stalker.com/macdownload.html#sims>.

For web server you could use Personal Web Server, part of OS 9.1
