I moved the monitor off the top of the box to get into the RAM and in the space between their and the chair it's been sat on fir the last 3 days it appears to have stopped working!!
I plugged into my 19" CRT and the little guy put up a grey '?' screen - man I don't think I've ever been so glad to see that before!
It seems the monitor in question is being temperamental, I managed to get a picture out of it in the end, but only after about 3 reboots and some wiggling of wires. I have to say it is a Macintosh (14") Colour Display I got practically free off our local dump so I'm not complaining too much ;o)
