Actually 9.2.2 is a smidgen faster than 9.1 on most systems, however I agree that it's a little too much to handle with a 6100 unless you have a specific need for OS 9 compatibility.


OS9 Helper seems to be very picky about what 9.2.1 and 9.2.2 update images. Use the 'Download' buttons inside OS9 Helper to be sure, and make sure you un-binhex the .smi.bin files.
