I was wrong assuming that all 6xxx series had built-in Ethernet. I'm not familiar
with the 6214, or any of the 62xx series :-( . Checking official Apple info about
the model (at http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=112333), I have
found that it really doesn't have built-in Ethernet. Instead, it has a comm slot.
I can't say where to look for it, but I think it's like a PCI slot, only somewhat
shorter, and I'd bet that it's located near the rear of the motherboard, possibly
close to the serial ports ("geoports").
