On my 7100, I have an old program called "Canvas" that's run fine for about ten years. Now, when I try to open it an error message pops up saying "Problem:time expired" and "Info/Location Code: 203/0" Is there any way to find out what these codes mean?
By the way, I ran diskdoctor to verify the disk is OK, and it did have a problem, but diskdoctor then fixed it and this error still occurs. I also rebuilt the desktop to make sure there were no problems there. Also, I started up the system from a clean CD, and then tried the program with the same exact results, so it really looks like the program file itself is the problem. One possibility: the power surge that blew the modem port also caused some other problem that is causing this error. I have moved several times and can't find the original disks or anything, and I think the company will not help me here. Thanks, Guy -- 1st-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
