Hi, First make sure your cable is parallel and not serial ! Mac's mini-din is usually serial if I do remember correctly. (windows xp support both) Voltages are not compatible and you might blow some components !
Several laserwriter are supported, but not your model. You can try different (older) models. This will usually work (also you might lose some features) Some new color inkjet printers are so cheap now ! It might be more productive to buy one ?
