A SuperMac Thunder/24, with a V 3.1 ROM (or V 3.0) will give you just about any resolution, including 1152 x 870. This card has a standard 15 pin D-Sub, so it will work with old style cables. Adapters are required for new style cables. I usually use these cards in WGS 9150s, but they will work in any NuBus Mac, and the 3.0 or 3.1 ROM will support PPC and 68K Macs.
