I'd try the PRAM battery first, like you stated you would. I'll assume
you haven't upgraded the RAM, the OS, or the processor recently. If you
have, try undoing whatever you just upgraded, and see if the problem
still exists. If it doesn't, you found you're problem. If you just added
your G3 card, some or all of your RAM may not be compatible.

If your problems still exist after undoing whatever may have been
upgraded (or if nothing has been added in some time), I would take all
the RAM out and put them back in, in their same slots. Sometimes
reseating them will work wonders. If that doesn't work, I'd pull A3 and
B3, and try to reboot. If that doesn't work use the use the minimum
amount of RAM you can (and still boot), and see if it works. Then start
swapping out the RAM until you find a combination that doesn't work. Keep
track of which ones are in tha machine at that time, and swap them one at
a time with another one, until you figure out which one is causing your
trouble. Hopefully, someone on this list will tell you if the CUDA switch
needs to be reset each time you change the RAM around, as I don't recall.

I hope some of this helps,

J White
