If you want to play games designed to run on that unit, 7.6.1 is the best
system to use. It was made for that generation of Power Mac, and is an
excellent system. You will need at least system 8 to take it on the
internet, but it will slow the functioning down considerably. I personally
would never use system 9 on a 6200, it just doesn't have the power to drive
it in my opinion.
