Hello Phil, and Jennifer, could you please review a forward port of the fix for 71242223 to jdk8?
This problem is macosx specific and was resolved in 7u4, the the fix for some reasons was not included in the bulk update of macosx code in jdk8. 7u4 fix discussion: http://mail.openjdk.java.net/pipermail/macosx-port-dev/2012-February/003075.html Please take a look.
