Can you hold off pushing these tests until there has been wider review?
I may be mistaken but I think that many of these tests (at least for the
non-client areas) were deliberately not pushed to jdk7u and jdk8 when
bringing the port in. From what I can remember there was overlap with
existing tests, tests weren't organized consistently with the existing
tests, some tests used hard-coded ports in a number of cases and there
were a slew of other issues that would have required clean-up and work
to get them to run reliably on all platforms. Additional tests are of
course very welcome and maybe there has been work done to clean them and
get them reliable, but we need to be sure that we aren't been sold a pup.
