When Spears' handlers were deciding what "sound" they wanted to go for for her debut, they commissioned a demo from leftfield UK dance act The All Seeing I, which includes former members of early Warp act Sweet Exorcist (of "Testone" fame). The demo was a cover of the I's own "Beat Goes On," an out-of-nowhere Brit pop hit from a couple of years ago. Apparently it made it onto Britney's album and sounds absolutely nothing like the rest of it.
