Well a DO is to have industry friends who can get you into events. Like going to things like the Sm=)e roof party is a must. And I never really had issues getting into places. People with badges or with friends could move us along in line a bit better, and get us past some cover charges, but I found that the $275 could be better spent. I mean honestly. I never want to go near the hotel with the conference again. That pool scene was so nasty. It was just the dirt of the industry hanging out there. And I got so annoyed with the hustle and bustle going on at the fountaineableu last year. So anything conference oriented isn't on my list of great things to do.
