reviews 05/99 Mike Grant - It's a Detroit thing - 12" - Moods & Grooves - mg002 Second release on the Moods & Grooves label from Detroit. Very nice record fully filled with classic club techno sounds. Side a hosts Hypnotize in two versions, despite of the overused sample, gorgeous beats and surreal synth loops make it a very nice track. Side b opens with a very nice ambient piece in best Detroit-manner. Sunlight is the finest track of this ep. Think of Theo Parrish and Octave One teaming up, delivering this lush warm and smooth nice club/techno/house track.
