hi everybody, i just wanted to let everyone know about munk's record shop. . .
lifesoundtrax 2530 market street (the 2nd floor of the antique mall) eastern market detroit phone 800-715-4189 email [EMAIL PROTECTED] hours tue-fri 11am - 5 pm & sat 9 am - 6 pm i was there yesterday, and it presented a small yet well-chosen selection of used records--primarily jazz, soul, & funk, with a smattering of techno, hip-hop, breaks, etc. i guess in a couple of weeks he'll also be carrying new stock, which i'm sure will enlarge the techno selection. prices were very reasonable. most of the records i bought were in the $1-$5 range, but i gladly spent $7 for a like-new moodyman 'silentintroduction' & $10 for transmat rhythim is rhythim (MS4 1987 pressing) w/ strings, strings of life, move it, & kaos (all songs mixes except for strings of life). [WOW!] very satisfying record-shopping experience & highly recommended. kelli
