He comes from a hip-hop background, producing some stuff in the early 80s
(not sure of any titles... can anyone help?). It's too bad he took the
hip-hop influence in the wrong direction.

I saw him play a couple years ago in SF, his set was a mixture of electro,
acid breaks, and bigbeat. Pretty disappointing. But the kids sure did love
it!
