The basic groove he used on "If" is rather similar to the track "Gamma Player" on the Humana EP (Axis 012). No vocals on the latter though. "If" is not exactly characteristic for the Purpose Maker style, it's closer to his Axis style. But regardless of what label it is on, I think "If" is absolutely gorgeous (although a certain heretic named BvL disagrees with me :) ). I love the way it's even pressed like a NY house track: full vocal, dub, acapella. Other EPs similar to "If" in vibe would be the later Axis stuff: "The Other Day", "Very", "Tomorrow" and "Apollo". Good starting points in general are the overview CDs "The Other Day" (not to be confused with the EP) for Axis and "Purpose Maker" for erm, Purpose Maker. Those CDs were released on React Music, so they should be available in any online store. Happy hunting, Otto
