out-of-towners:

to anyone who wants to be right downtown, consider the park avenue, near the
fox. it is _not_ luxurious - more like a hostel, but cheap.

also, a best western just opened downtown - i can't imagine they would be
$110.

the town hotel/apartments advertises rooms from $79 and they are right
downtown.

also check the ramada and the milner.

the shorecrest is just east of downtown. once again, not the greatest place
in the world, but within walking distance of hart plaza, which is probably
your priority.

also, does anyone know if the festival is still free? i have heard
rumblings that it is not anymore. . .

thx
kbk
