Alright kids, the last two times I've seen Mike Huckaby spin, he's thrown down this incredible jam. No vocals, it's got these crazy warped disco-ish samples, and a synth line that arpeggiates in a shuffle-y way. The track is all over the place, the breaks and fills in it are completely mad. Last night at Motor, he spun it about 3-4 tracks after Shades of Jae. It's weird, beautiful, and funky... the perfect combination.
The first time he played it, I got a chance to spot. All I got from the label was maybe the word "storm" Diana: Ferris Beuller's Day Off is all about Chicago. np: Some asshole's car horn outside my window. n8
