Pow Wow Trance released Waveform Transmissions Volume 1 in '92/'93. CD only, I believe. As lame as it sounds, this was my first exposure to Mills. Although it sounded different to me than most of the other "rave-til-dawn"/trance stuff I played back then, I didn't realize there was an entire different world out there until I discovered R+S. Even though I loved the first Tresor compilation, it didn't really sink in that this was an example of a whole different, deeper underground scene.
