Wow, what luck! Well, not really luck, but it's still great. I have to go to Toronto for surgery (bad) I got my appointment bumped up to may 30th (good) this means I can make it to DEMF (very good). I'm afraid I've never been out this way before, and should have been paying more attention to the emails about accommodation, etc, I just didn't want to learn a bunch of info about an amazing event I couldn't go to. I am hoping to stay on the Windsor side to keep costs down (also because I am such a proud Canadian) I wonder if people would be so kind as to give me ideas as to how to get around once I'm there? Is there any public transit that goes cross-border? I would prefer to get a bus (or train?) from TO, but if there is no public transit once I'm in Windsor/Detroit, I might as well rent a car. I only found out I'd be going a few minutes ago, so I apologize if this makes no sense. Please reply privately if you have any info/suggestions.
