'lo all,

I'm suprised that no one has mentioned the 430 west after hours. Seeing Octave
One do a live p.a. was very very nice.
The music there was fabu all night, but for some reason it was only us folk
from kleveland who were dancing....oh well.

The rest of the festival was fabulous (but I was only there for 1.5 days.)
Hightlights were def. d wynn, t.p., stacey pullen (rocked the house!,) the 15
minutes of DBX that I actually got to see, meeting hawtin, and grooving with
the 430 west crew. Not to mention all the hard to find (shrinkwrapped!) +8
vinyl the m-nus guys were selling- woo hoo!

Having schedule changes posted would have really helped. I was jamming to what
turned out to be dbx, but no one around seemed to know who it was at the time.
Oh well, I still enjoyed the hell out of myself anyway :-).

I got interviewed by some people doing a documentary, and when asked about what
i thought of the festival, I said something along the lines of "It's about time
the city recognized this worldwide phenomena- it all started here."

the whole thing really made this detroit native a little emotional....

out
