One of my favorite tracks of all time is the (Construction mix) off Paul Johnson & Armando 3rd Dimension Djax-Up-181. This track is simply bad ass old school Chicago house, minimal dry crispy 808 with with 707 tambs and toms with that repetitive CZ101ish synth loop, er ih eh ee, er ih eh ee... ya know similar in style to Armani Trax but way better. As for the complaint about basic Channel being boring I can see how some people may view them as boring but I would think BC would have sounded awesome on a big loud distorted sound system with the Detroit skyline in the background, must have been a real treat for all the BC fans. Me personally, I would love to hear the 1991 hardcore skizzo acid sound at DEMF like Cybersonic - Backlash or the early UR stuff like Message To The Majors, Pank, Riot, Seawolf, Acid Rain, maybe even some old Joey beltram like his e-dancer grab the beat remix. People might form a mosh pit and start slam dancing! now that sounds like fun.
