It's not such a big secret anymore, honestly. There was an article on Transmat in Jockey Slut around the time of its relaunch which stated as much and I knew of it from industry conversations here and there - and then I asked Ian about it in an interview, I think I told him, "This is the best thing you've done," and he stated how honoured he was to do a Transmat release, etc, etc. I assume that he wanted an alias because of the situation of him being signed to V2, but maybe that has been sorted out since. I heard from someone else aligned with V2 that Ian had left but he is doing another LP with them. I keep most of my interviews on disk, but since I switched computers things have become very disorganised. Come Wednesday after my deadlines, I will try and find it. It must have been around mid last year? Peace C
