that was childish - just like the florida raves
but anyways here is my message

listen now - there is trance that is techno related!
understand? i dont know where you are coming from but from what i
understand techno and trance are quite related when it comes to the core
of the music
maybe when you think of trance you think of paul oakenfold or sasha, you
know? that is not the trance i am talking about - obviously some of you
people dont listen to much trance - i will give you some examples of
where trance meets techno - black dog - black dog has a pseudonym called
balil, and on the label rising high (one of the original trance labels)
there is a release called parasight. black dog is mainly a techno artist,
but has trance releases, also on the old harthouse label there is some
techno trance (sven vath, ken ishii, oliver lieb), also there are some
techno trance releases on tresor from early 90's - cosmic cubes by cosmic
baby, high on hope by microglobe, etc - even if you listen to some of the
old red planets you will see that it has somewhat of a trancey feel to it
(like rp2) , this is where the line between trance and techno becomes a
blur - anyways here is what i am getting at...
the whole point of music is feelings - that is what makes the original
detroit techno good - because it penetrates into your inner being through
feelings - that is what makes it art - the core of the sound is where it
meets your feelings - so i feel that any music that is core music is art,
and is good whether it is trance, techno, house, classical, etc - i think
now this is where a lot of people are missing the point and why the
others are unsubscribing from this list - there are a lot of know it alls
and now that you know so much about the "techno" then you become closed
to what is around you - you are too much into your minds, and not into
your FEELINGS - this is what music is about - feelings, so to me it
doesnt matter how much yo know about music, but only if you listen to it
with deep feeling because that is where music meets the soul
new releass are just releases in the end because if you dont feel the
music then really you dont understand what it is all about - you start to
categorize and say "techno is the best", but this is just a trick of your
mind because the genre does not even matter - only the feeling of music
ok was that enough?
