if it was 1984, it would be a no brainer--africa bamaataa. but it's 2000, and
unfortunately africa bamaataa now plays crap, and he doesn't even play it that
well. he recently spun in new york. it was terrible. he recently released a mix
in the 'united djs of america' series. it sucks.

i have the greatest respect for the man (i have a real audio electro mix at
www.jbucknell.com with quite a few africa bamaataa tracks on it). my feeling
is--you've seen hell before, you'll see him again. africa bamaataa will more
than likely suck. but there's a chance he could pull of a blinder. it's a long
shot, but if it happens it will be brilliant. so i'd say take a chance, but be
prepared to be let down.

The 24 th July I need to choose between 2 party's should I go to Dj Hell
which I have seen several times (but he is soo good !), or is bambaataa
realy worth chekking out ???
