What tape hiss is concerned: this one Belgian producer, Dj Valium aka Val
usually copies his new tracks on really lousy tapes from a cheap supermarket
before re-recording them... 

He's a bit crazy, but a fun guy and he already released on labels such as
Teknotica and Int. Dj Gigolo's.

Bill is not locked into the specific palette of sounds (pole filters, vinyl
pops, digital artifacts), but much of the inspiration for his music comes
from dub-savvy producers in the "glitch" or "clicks+cuts" genres.

I've really been enjoying this style lately, and Bill's set came as a very
nice surprise.  A promising debut, and I'm sure there's more to come.
