<this is a post inspired by klaas-jan's post> i am not very long on this list, for about 6 months now and i first was positively surprised of the good behaviour of people posting here not mentioning the immense amount of knowledge gathered here. but in the last few weeks i noticed a large amount of negative aggression towards people's opinions. do not discuss about one's opinion, because anyone has the right to think what he wants. instead, respect this person for expressing his thoughts and feelings on a public mailing list and try to bring in your own ones where you feel it is appropriate. but please consider that emails are a very difficult way to express yourself, so people "judge" you only on the basis of what they know from the messages you post.
i know that we always have the feeling that we must prove something in our daily life to gain credibility or whatever. but that's not the thing music is about, it's not a competition, it's a way to learn more about yourself and to express yourself, to develop your existence. in general, RESPECT EACH OTHER
