record stores: Speed records - Queen st. west Play De Record - Yonge st. and Dundas area Traxx - few blocks north of Play De on yonge st. Metropolis records - Spadina (intersection of queen and spadina - its on the NW side up some stairs)
Things to avoid: WEMF. Why oh why are you going to that hell on earth event? I don't get it. One tip if you don't take my advice, do NOT take a shuttle bus there. it will take you 12+ hrs to get there. probably longer to leave.
