afaik scandinavia isn't an offshoot of sativae. but it is closely connected to it. it is run by neil landstrumm, who originally is from scotland (now lives in brooklyn) and a friend of dave tarrida (who owns sativae) who is also from scotland, edinburgh if i'm not mistaken. so i guess that's where the connection comes from.
fix is a sublabel of subhead (at least i think so). all three fix records i have are labelled to be from fix or kit, whoever that is. another new sublabel of subhead is dotcom, with two releases so far, both from dj sueme. sativae and subhead both have other sublabels as well, but i always forget half of it, their label policy is as confusing as their music :-) peter -----Original Message----- From: Neil Wallace <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > >heres a bit of info in case you didn't already know. > >scandinavia (despite the name) is also an offshoot of sativae (or closely >connected anyway) hence the similarity i guess. > >do you know much about Fix, I have a feeling it is associated w/ subhead >in some way, I think the one record I have on the label is by subhead, >pretty cool but really wacky. > >neil > >On Wed, 12 Jul 2000, peter mueller wrote: > >> i also appreciate the below mentioned stuff. i really love the submerge2 ep >> from subhead on sativae and the subhead label in general. >> >> the drought07 from dj sueme from tokyo is also very good. >> >> other labels in the same vein that i think are worth checking out: >> predicaments, fix, scandinavia >> >> [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: >> P.S.
