Just as a coincidence I found a review of Powerbass while diging through
my old sttuff, this came from a small indepent magazine from Dallas, TX
called The Vibe.

Kevin Saunderson returns with an impressive track that has
reminiscence of techno innovators on the latest Inner City LP. This song
along with his massive 'funky, funk, funk,' prove Saunderson's loyalty
to Detroit techno. Kevin has received some undeserved heat lately for
the release of the last Inner City LP, and it's nice to see him put out
a couple of slammin' tracks that keep him, along with Juan Atkins and
Derrick May, the leaders of the techno sound.
Also found this old techno chart from 91", got this chart after buyin
the special limited edition copy of UR - Punisher , this came from a
short lived record store in Dallas called Excel records, it was started
by some former employs of Bills Records and Tapes

period, I think the guy that wrote that Powerbase review worked at the
store.
