Claude Young's Rise is excellent...I like the Vol 8 comp but I didn't get it
when I was down at the shop today. It's more atmospheric/lush and less
clanky/pounding <?> than some of the earlier comps. Of course this was
impression after a quick listen but it's still on my 'to get' list.

i just listened to Tressor Comp Vol 8 last night. to tell you the truth i
am kinda disappointed by it. the only track on it that i really liked was
the new Claude Young one. it seems to me that claude young can do no wrong
right now. am i the only one that thinks that??? anyways i would much
rather listen to tressor vol 4 or vol 5. both of those are excellent.
