It's great to see this kind of positive coverage in the Freep, at last. Especially for the Burdens, who deserve every bit of respect.
It was an honor to see Octave One playing live at the 430 West party, but even better was seeing all the generations of the Burden family at the underground stage at DEMF watching the Direct Beat Assassins rip it up. As I've said before, there is so much great music from Detroit, but the Octave One sound is right at the heart of my approach as a DJ. phred
