Totally agree, especially that track 'Zig' (w/ Claude Young) is utterly amazing. And the track "Ambeance" is a slow dark and moody downtempo/ instrumental hip-hop affair. Sean's LP is as important a masterpiece (to me) as Detroit Escalator Co. LP and the Urban Tribe LP, as far as capturing the "essence" of the laid back detroit electronic mood. I predict this will enjoy the expected "classic" longevity status. It really gels together as an album, proper, (in sharp contrast to the unfortunate abundance of techno "albums" that are just collections of singles that fail to make a cohesive statement as a whole.) "Allegory and Metaphor" is really a masterpiece and you know an album holds up to the test when you can sit down and enjoy it in a single sitting from start to finish, the reprise of the title track is a pure class way to end it. peace -- Matt MacQueen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.reverbmag.com archived radio shows --> http://macqueen.com/radio
