couldn't agree more. i think somebody (Mr Koppius perhaps) commented previously that Kevorkian has taken us back to school with this double cd - a history lesson in funky soulful music.

something else which has also hit the spot lately is "Significant Numbers" by John Tejada. i've always been a bit indifferent towards Tejada's stuff - some of his tracks i've quite liked (one of the tracks on his first ep on Organised Noise springs to mind), but most have been a bit of a <shrug> if you know what i mean. "Significant Numbers" def hits the spot tho.

i dunno where the spot is of course, but it's that spot a great track hits. it's like the track reaches into you, know's exactly what it's looking for, finds it's bearings and zero's in - once that fateful connection is made that's it, the end, it's got you. i like being "got". :)
