there was another, much better series, in my opinion, that came out about
3-4 years ago sponsered by the rock and roll hall of fame, and experience
music project, that had an episode dedicated to "the perfect beat"...it
included hip-hop, techno, house, electro, kraftwerk etc...and interviews
with, derrick may, frankie knuckles, run-dmc, beastie boys, de la soul,
new
order, africa bambaata etc...very informative in the general sense,
definately not as centered on the modern electronic music scene as
modulations is.

"Dancing in the Street" was the name of that one. The "chapter"
The episode you are talking about is "Planet Rock". Last in a series of
eight. Two chapters across four videos. Got 'em all at home.
out.
