Judging by the records you mentioned, it looks like
you prefer the -less- intricate and more
banging/harder records. This explains the preference
to older mills material, some of which was pretty damn
hard. I like the new Axis, it's mellow and pleasant. I
wouldn't say it's dramatically innovative though, and
(for example) the deep moments in 'From the 21st' are
somehow deeper than in Ax20. Not every record can be
the best. :)

I still love my Detroit techno but I feel the need for
the intricate sound structures that Aaron describes -
I'm still overlistening the Isolee album, the
Pub:Summer mixes are dope, and Shake's stuff is just
too damn funky.
