I just recieved this review from the S://kimo mailing list, I thought
fellow list members would be interested. Also, I have not heard this
release, is it essential? I have heard mixed reviews and I would like a
few more opinions.

Yep, this is an essential and overlooked release IMO. Carl seemed to just go
back to the Detroit basics - simple rhythms, synthetic sounds (there seems
to be few samples) and simple ideas but theres a lot of emotion and beauty.
Definitely a 'complete' album from start to finish (as opposed to the _More
Songs..._ kind of compilation of tracks).
One of my favourite Carl Craig releases.
