I'll tell you about the shops since nothing much happens during the
summer.....
Remix - Via del Fuime, in the piazza del popolo/via del corso area (central
rome), off Via della Lungara. A good shop with the different genres divided
in different rooms. The let you listen to all the mixes you want, just ask
them.
Disfunzioni Musicali - Via dei Rieti (i think), near the University in the
San Lorenzo area. There you can find most types of music, not just
electronic.
May i suggest you take a listen to stuff on Nature recs., a good local
label. Artists like Passarani, D'Arcangelo, Mat101.
