FINALLY checked out W Van Loo's set on groovetech. I missed the 1st
day of the DEMF ;-( this is excellent stuff!! All list members into chain
reaction stuff NEED to see and hear! Any 12" releases??? How about Theorem
vs. LOO?
I also went on a tear and read every dance related book that I could get
my hands on recently. The small "Rough Guides" on House and Techno are
excellent synapses for brief but concise info on the "producers" in these
genres and the definitive songs and labels.
Generation Ecstasy is very informative and covers a lot of ground but the
writer is too much into his personal likes ( ?gabber hardcore jungle?) to
take too seriously.
Dan's book Techno Rebels ! The truth is out there now ...thanks!! Look
forward to some discussions next DEMF. My only critique...more old pictures!
Has to be some of the Bellville boys and Eddie + back in the day. Some old
+8 events, planet e artists, submerge, record time. So a full book needs to
be written about the Chicago house revolution, or did I miss that? I guess
"More Brilliant Than ..." / "From Dusseldorf..." is next?

Would love to check out Murat & Adam Beyer @ Motor soon ...is a Detroit
Renaissance upon us? Any chance of getting some of those amazing old Albert
Kahn buildings renovated with young artists & or independent business'
occupying them?
Any word on New Years events yet folks??
Thanks for bearing with the bandwidth loss.
