Just got a promo from cnote of contrast 1, and I like it a lot. Both tracks are smooth house tracks with a lot of musicality going for them -- 'FonkyMuzak' is a little trackier, i.e. the focus is on smooth, varied percussion, and 'Que Pasa' has tastey live sax and guitar on the jazzy side. Everyone here that's heard it has liked it a lot; worth checking out.
Courtney came to play here and due to airline cockups only got to do a short set at the club; at the afterparty she played a great 'one for the headz' sets, super smooth mixing of great funky tracks.
