Along with the Nubian Mindz album (New World Chaos), this is one of the
year's greats for the opening 3 tracks alone. Many of the things on
here are in a strongly Detroit vein. Masterful stuff, even the one with
the Portishead overtones. Check out the well written review in the latest
URB comparing its evocation of classic house and techno 'memories' to
Tarkovsky's film Solaris. Made me pull out my old copy of Mr. Fingers,
Introduction, anyway.
