Guys n Gals, I'm answering to ALL of those who responded to my post personally :-) I made a casual observation.....not that I feel attacked by all the feedback. I think that it is beyond this list to determine the reasons behind thae scarceness of women techno djs. But I think that there are various issues to be taken into consideration i.e: the nature of this music-understandibly non appealing to the general female public; the sexist undertones to most manifestations of human business and culture as well; and yes, I believe that the obsessive undertones top being a DJ aren't too common with females. But by saying all this I am not stating that females can't be djs nor spin hard/wierd/non-commercial music. Is this making snese? (ive just come out of a 7 hour meeting and feelindg a little dazed :-)
