Hi, people have been saying certain things are off topic, while other people saying they need to be said.
I love the list because I feel it has so much integrity and really great information I wouldn't otherwise have found. However some topics say Swedish techno, although not strictly Detroit have still made me think about music in relation to Detroit. There seems to be a very very fine line between allowing room for a wider discussion on Techno without it getting wishy washy and self indulgent. I feel if people only discuss Detroit techno at the exclusion of all other music, it may stunt the actual exploration of Detroit Techno. However if people go off tangent all the time the list might not be able to hold its integrity and quality. It's a tricky one. Personally I love Detroit techno because of all the music I listen to it gets me in touch with heart and spirit more than anything else. Cheers Louise
