great track with a nice story.
celentano is singin' his own pseudo english. i read somewhere (can't
find the link at the mo) that in those days he wanted to prove that
people in italy just liked/bought pop songs with english lyrics
(instead of songs sung in italian), although they didn't understand
any / care about the lyrics anyway. so he pretended he was singin'
"english". i think there's also a term for his language: celentanesca
(or something similar).
sounds like a very early rap song to me, in 1974 that must have been
pretty ahead of its time.

Thanks much for the info, Carlos.

I happened on this on Idolator, and it sounds like a Theo Parrish
track with Italians spouting gibberish over it. Greg Wilson's 'Ruff
Edit' of it turns up the bass and adds some crazy business at the
end... and it's a bit like Velvet Underground in the bargain.

Here's the original from 1973:

To those who speak Italian:
is this from a film, if so, which one, and what are they on about?
Have a good weekend.
